Where the Merlion Stands:)

Dramatic title <3
It makes a good read.

so I went to Singapore. Stayed in a service apartment on Orange Grove, and it was a walk-able distance to the haven, Orchard Road. The apartment was nice, vintagey and wooden.. with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a decent living room (decent?? it had a flat screen tv, a dvd player, some Sony speakers and a very comfy couch.).

We went to the zoo, bird park and science centre, all very educationally entertaining.
entertaining doesnt even cut it. it was spectacular.

Then it was shopping. oh how i love that word. SHOPPING.
I went too:

Esplenade at Suntec city

Weekend Events, Life of A Butterfly:)

Saturday:
my darling friend;s birthday party. her house was like out of city and not in google map, so i did major major research on it. When we found the house we were like, omg, there it is!!!!!
Okay, so we dipped our legs in the pool, played hide and seek( shuddup, reliving the childhood moment here!!) and ate, a lot. owh, i had some major stains on my clothes that made me gasp, wash my hands, and smother the stain in soap. And we were all like,"open the pressies!!" and so on. enough told there.
Sunday:
Woke up at like, 10?? and my dad was like hurry!hurry! and i was walking around the house , half awake and hungry, trying to locate my towel. After the torment of showers, we went out and bought whatever was the necessaries and went back home. And i was writing a text message, planning to send it to , i dont know, someone, and decided not to and let the message enter the drafts folder.

So there you go, my not so average weekend in which i did not spend anytime to think about school.

Laughter Yoga

strange, but it exists. while i wait for my pics on my social network to upload, im going to talk about laughter yoga, or at least, be a copy dog about it:)

Laughter Yoga - A Unique Concept
Laughter Yoga - A Unique Concept
Laughter Yoga is a revolutionary idea – simple and profound. An exercise routine, it is sweeping the world and is a complete wellbeing workout.
The brainchild of Dr. Madan Kataria, a Physician from Mumbai, India, launched the first Laughter Club at a Park on March 13, 1995, with merely a handful of persons. Today, it has become a worldwide phenomenon with more than 6000 Social Laughter Clubs in about 60 countries.
Laughter Yoga combines Unconditional Laughter with Yogic Breathing (Pranayama). Anyone can Laugh for No Reason, without relying on humor, jokes or comedy. Laughter is simulated as a body exercise in a group; with eye contact and childlike playfulness, it soon turns into real and contagious laughter. The concept of Laughter Yoga is based on a scientific fact that the body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter. One gets the same physiological and psychological benefits.

Law of Nature

The Law:
That every living thing must die.

That one law took away the life of Garfield, a cat that offered me companionship and indirect loyalty, he came every morning to do figure 8 at  my feet and purr as i scratch his chin.
His life, ended on the 31st of October. He died alone, near a bus stop, on the grass. His eyes were cloudy and flies and ants covered him by the dozens.
He wasn't injured, there were no obvious injury, just died when it was time.
We( me and fellow buddies) dug a grave for him, we shovelled with sticks, twigs, branches, a wedding placard  and a horizontally cut 1 litre mineral water bottle. It took us an hour, and when we buried him, we forgot to close his eyes.
A speech was read out and we sprinkled water and random leaves over his grave. I could not cry. Try as I might, the tears refused to give out.
I'll visit him everyday if I could, but right now, I don't think I can.
I'l bring flowers next time, baby. Just wait.
I wont leave you. See you later.
